WISHLIST

1. NINE INCH NAILS and/or TRENT REZNOR
Musicians: Bands/Groups

Nine Inch Nails are something of a phenomenon in my world. The music that Trent Reznor and Co. create is often cutting and jagged. It can sound as cruel as it sounds beautiful and as menacing as it is inspiring. There's something so special about listening to a new track or the old albums; and letting them speak to you. And speak they do. Mr Reznor has such away with words and sounds; I really do believe they're here before their time. And NIN is music that is going to be around forever.


2. SUPERNATURAL
TV Shows

Supernatural is definitely my favourite television show. It can be creepy, funny, happy and just plain depressing throughout one episode, let alone an entire season. It takes us on a journey with twists and turns that we never expect and it stays entertaining. It may be cheesy at times; but that's part of it's charm. It's a fantastic form of escapist entertainment.


3. SEAN BEAN
Actors

Sean Bean is my favourite actor, hands down. There's just something about him that's so gorgeous and real. He quite often plays villains in films; but has some other fantastic roles that people seem to overlook (I have a soft spot for the Sharpe series personally). Sean is an amazing talent - I can't say any more than that.


4. JENSEN ACKLES AND JARED PADALECKI
Relationships: Real Life

Oh these two boys men! There is something absolutely delightful watching these two interact, whether it be behind the scenes, during an interview or on the Supernatural gag reel footage. They just seem so at ease and in tune with each other. And they are certainly one of my favourite celebrity friendships - they make the world seem like a brighter place.


5. CILLIAN MURPHY
Actors

My favourite Irishman! The first thing I see when I think about Cillian Murphy is his piercing blue eyes; which are his stand out feature. He's another brilliant actor that just keeps it real, and I doubt he'd ever take a role that he didn't want. Whether he's playing a comic book villain or a guy down on his luck; he's always believable and true to the character he's portraying.


6. SMALLVILLE
TV Shows

Smallville is another of my favourite tv shows. It may be completely unbelievable sometimes, but what else could you expect when your main character is a comic book hero just discovering his powers? I love how silly it can get, and I love how real it can seem too. It's one of my guilty pleasures, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.


7. FIGHT CLUB
Movies

The best book to film adaptation; and one of the most mesmerising, mind-twisting pieces of cinema I have ever seen. It's just a fantastic film, and one of my favourites.



8. ROBERT DOWNEY JR
Actors

Iron Man/Tony Stark. Kirk Lazarus. Harry Lockhart. RDJ has portrayed some of the best characters on film, and especially in the past two years he's come back into the fold. But he's always been an amazing actor; and I think I'll always think of him as Larry Paul from Ally McBeal - that was his defining role for me. And I'm still finding great joy in going back and viewing his previous work. RDJ is such a talented man, and deserves all the recognition he's currently getting.


9. BLACK CATS
Animals

One of my favourite animals on the planet. And definitely my favourite feline. They're so striking to look at and are just beautiful creatures.



10. KINGS OF LEON
Musicians: Bands/Groups

These guys are one of my top five artists; and have been for a few years now. They sounded so different to anything else I was listening to when they first came out and it really opened my eyes to different sorts of music. Even now they have a unique sound and swagger about them; and it's great to see them finally getting recognition.


OTHER WISHES
These wishes, while very close to my heart aren't able to squeeze into my top ten. But I thought they deserved a mention here all the same.

GRANTED WISHES
